Amirhosein Vedadi

Robotics & AI Researcher

About Me

My name is Amirhosein Vedadi, and I'm a robotics and control graduate with a specialization in legged robotics. I have a research background in perception, state estimation, and sensor fusion, which has allowed me to understand how robots perceive and interact with their environment. One of my passions is utilizing machine learning and computer vision techniques to enhance the autonomy of robots.

Brief Bio

I hold a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran, earned in 2019 and 2022 respectively. My MSc thesis focused on improving the performance of humanoid robot perception by combining state estimation of their kinematics base states with slam algorithms output.

I began my career as a robotics research assistant at the Center of Advanced Systems and Technologies (CAST) in 2017. There, I gained valuable experience in the field of legged robots. In 2020, I joined the Surena-V humanoid robot project and currently lead its dynamic and control team.

Since 2022, I have been a robotics and AI Engineer at Cheetah startup, focusing on developing forward collision warning and driver monitoring systems.

I must search. Even if the endless powdering of stars in Galaxy makes the quest seem hopeless, and even if I must do it alone.
